Hairdryer
Challenge
The objective was to design a "tool" used in everyday life. I chose to reinvent the classic hairdryer to be stored on top of a bathroom counter.

Mood Board
I focused on making a streamlined, reflective, and space-conscious design that could be stored flat on a bathroom counter.
ideation
I started to explore different ways of altering the shape of the hairdryer when putting it away for storage. I settled on making a folding handle and a flat end for vertical storage.
Iteration
After settling on a design I experimented with detailing and different textures.
Final design
The final design features a holographic plastic, hard textured plastic for grip, and a folding handle that allows users to store flat on a bathroom counter.
